Chrome Extension : How to Skip Adfly Links

Premium ExtensionIf you've came to this post, you most probably already know what adfly is, for those who don't : it's a url shortener that is cloaked behind ads- which you have to look at for 5 seconds.  Past the 5 seconds, you can go to the landing page.  Besides Adfly, there is Zpages, LinkBucks, Adfocus and many others.  Chrome user?  You will love this.

Sometimes, it can become very annoying when a Website is filled with adfly (adfly is used to designate any paid advertisement url shorteners) to get what your were looking for.  Remember the old days when GYC.INFO was a adfly website?   The publishers of these services earn money from when users click on their links, because they are looking for a promised goodie.  But;  I am now here to show you the very nice extension that you can use for Chrome (click here for Firefox) to skip all those annoying ads, best of all it's yours for free!~ but you will need to click 1 last time on a adfly link before you can get your goodie ;)

Here's the download link for the chrome extension: Linkbucks Skip Extension

Once you have installed it, you will skip any url shorteners that have advertisement in it.  Please note that if you do work with those advertisers, you might have to turn the extension off before logging on their websites, else you will not be able to enter, as it just happened to me with adfly ;)

Here's a the link back to home, cloaked with adfly, but that won't affect you ^^ : http://adf.ly/7ZHAN

  3. Can the extension really access our "tabs and browsing activity"? If so I wouldn't use it.

    1. Can you please elaborate, I mean, how do you expect the extension to run the script if it can't know if you are actually browsing adfly or linkbucks links??

    2. The message I get before installing the extension is that it can access "tabs and browsing activity". Does it send our browsing history to a 3rd party? It's a question of privacy.

      Thanks,
